FULokoja Proposed E-Learning System
UPDATE ON THE PROPOSED E-Learning.
On Friday morning, a mini training about the e-learning was done at the University MIS centre which has in attendance the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the University Liberian, the Dean of Students, Dean of Sciences, a quite number of Professors, some of the Students Union representatives considerable number of Lecturers and some non academic Staff.
The first presentation was done by Mr. Chigoze of Raadaa Partners International Ltd about the e-learning platform called RAADAA.

Raadaa learn is a user friendly learning management system that has a lot of amazing features which aids online academic activities. The platform works on multiple devices, accommodate unlimited users, accept unlimited materials and lots more
With the RAADAA platform, it will be possible to have online classroom, take online assessment (assignments, tests, exams because it is face censored), it has inbuilt video conferencing, free recorded lectures, e-results, automated attendance tracker, reports and analysis, online research, online notes, live lectures, pre-recorded lectures and revisions and other lots of amazing features.

It will require both the students and the tutors to have account which will either be done by the students and tutors themselves and added into the platform by the admin or the admin can create account for everybody. The Faculties and Departments will be created by the admin and the courses as well can be created by either the tutors or the admin.
The students will be added to the courses they offer and they will receive messages only on those courses. Students can view, download their messages and even live classes are automatically recorded which students can as well view.

You will have access to the platform only when added to the platform by the admin except for external courses where guests and visitors will be able to access but on conditions as required by the University.
The platform will be inculcated into the University website where everyone will go and log in.
Every event has allocated time and time frame for everything can be adjusted to be convenient for both students and tutors. For example a one-hour test can be taken within a day. one can log in any time of the day and take that one-hour test.

The other presentation was the introduction to the e-learning platform MOODLE which was done by the University M I S team.
According to them, the resources had been with the University since 2012. The site link is ug.fulokoja.edu.ng/lms.
It is users friendly and has good features that will aid online lectures.
Proper training on the platform will be given on a later date.
